The Need For Watchfulness

Apostle Matthew: Peter remembered that Jesus said that he, peter, would deny Him, and Peter became sorrowful.

Son of man, that is why we do tell the children of God and ministers of God to be watchful. When ourselves were on this road, in the race of life, we were watchful. We were praying, and we were watchful in spirit. But the present and modern generations do not know the meaning of prayer and they do not know what it means to be watchful.

Son of man, if the ministers of God and children of God do not start now to be watchful, they shall not be able to remain steadfast, at all. They shall be people who are defeated, from time to time.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, what is being watchful?

The Head: Being watchful means that when something happens, a person shall first inquire in spirit, to know what shall happen and what should be done. It is like a minister going to perform family deliverance. He has to first observe quiet time and meditation, to know the problems in the family’s compound, to know the forces and powers of darkness afflicting the family, to know what to do and how to do so. By the time he is in family, if anything suddenly happens, he shall not be surprised or caught unawares. When such a thing happens, he already knows what to do to solve the problem or resolve the challenge.

Another point is that the ministers of God and children of God should strive and study Yahweh's Book Of Life and also study Spiritual Science. They have to first get knowledge because what a person does depends on what he knows.

Apostle Matthew: What is the meaning of being watchful?

The Head: It is to observe quiet time and meditation.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, you humanity hear about pray and watch?

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: You humanity call it watchfulness.

Is it true?

The Head: Yes, it is true.

Apostle Matthew: Quiet time and meditation, and watchfulness, are the same?

The Head: They are one, but not exactly the same, not completely the same. Quiet time and meditation means to go into the spirit to inquire, and there after continue to do what a person was doing. But watchfulness means to be watchful, vigilant, to remember all the things that a person had being told about current and future events.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, yourself answered very well.

The reasons why we ask the children of God to be watchful are:

Number 1, at that time that they compose their spirits, they have to decide that themselves have to be watchful, so that their spirits shall be composed, organized and focused.

Number 2, watchfulness is to stay in the presence of God. Even if the person is outside or inside, wherever he is, he is still in the presence of God.

The Head: Another way to stay in the presence of God is to regularly attend prayers and worship.

Apostle Matthew: Number 3, watchfulness means that the Angels encamp around the person.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, if Angels encamp around somebody, is that being watchfulness?

The Head: Number 1, the real people watchful are the Angels who surround the person.

Number 2, but the person has to be watchful by observing all the necessary rites of holiness, so that Angels shall stay close and around him. Also, he has to pay attention to what the Angels are telling him.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, that is what ourselves want. We, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, do explain that the children of God should be watchful when the Angels are protecting them.

Number 3, watchfulness means that the person and the Holy Spirit are following the same way, by communicating, by working together and by the person obeying the Holy Spirit. Whatever the Holy Spirit tells the person, that is what the person shall do. That is being watchful.

The Head: Yes.

Watchfulness

Number 4, another meaning of being watchful, is that the ministers of God and the children of God have to be meticulously aware of what they are doing or what is happening in their surroundings and in the world.

Number 5, it is their duty, especially of the ministers of God, the prophets and all those empowered to work. When various things are about to happen, just as Prophet Jeremiah did, it is their duty to uproot and destroy evils, and to plant and establish goodness.

On many occasions, christens are not watchful. Often in their presence, the works of God are being destroyed, the laws of God are being changed or twisted, non-Christians are disorganizing all the things that God has ordered in sequence, but the Christians keep quiet and silent as if it does not concern them. They are not usually watchful. That is why Satan has arrested them and bound them inside the hell fire, and yet Christians claim to be in their various churches, ministries and fellowships. That is self-deceit.

Failure To Keep Watch

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, many of the Christians and children of God do not want to worship God.

The Head: Yes. All that is important to them is for their problems to be solved, and their needs provided, for them to go home.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, many of them, their flesh and hearts do not allow them to do the will of God. That is why in many occasions, they are not watchful.

The Head: They are usually not watchful because their religious leaders, whom the people trust in, do not teach their congregations what the religious leaders supposed to teach them, because the religious leaders are spiritually blind, ignorant and lazy.

Often, people leave everything in the hands of their religious leaders and ministers of God. They feel that whatever their religious leaders or ministers of God say and do are right, and if the religious leaders and ministers of God deviate from what God says, all the followers also deviate from the way of truth and salvation. This is one of the reasons why it has being very hard to call humanity back to true repentance and necessary reformations, because they are always listening to and obeying religious leaders who are working for Satan without knowing it.
